Fursten Look x Tailormade Temptation – Gelding, 170cm, 2017

Oh lala! We love this handsome chestnut gelding. He has three really, really good paces. He is not sharp or spooky under the saddle, but has a nice “go” about him and takes the rider along nicely. He has a really nice forward way of going and enjoys his work. He absolutely has the right mentality and enjoys his job and the attention that comes with it, so absolutely a horse for the young horse classes and one to take further through the ranks.

This attractive gelding has a lot of presence around the arena and is a very interesting horse to bring through the levels as he is already showing an enormous talent for the collection work (piaffe/passage). He has not actually been forced at all to train it, but offers it naturally when you collect in the trot. The same applies for the canter work in which the collection is easy for him, so you can see that he is going to have fabulous pirouettes later on. He is a bit of macho and has a bit of an opinion, so would possibly not be suited to amateur riders or someone who is nervous. The more you get him concentrated on his work, the better he goes, so he does need someone with a good routine who knows what they are doing. That said he is not mean, just got some cheek. He competed well in young horse competitions, so has seen a bit of life, but due to Covid, he has been training further at home the last year.
